Zach has been serving families in the funeral industry for six years and is the second generation in his family following his father with over twenty-seven years of service. Zach grew up in and around the funeral home and he understands the importance of showing care and compassion to families in their time of need. Zach founded Knight Riders LLC with the goal of bringing a higher standard of service to the mortuary transport industry. He formerly served as a law enforcement officer in Davie County and is currently enrolled at Fayetteville Community College working towards his Funeral Director and Embalmer’s license. Zach and his wife, Wendi, attend Hillsdale United Methodist Church in Advance, NC and have worked in the mission field as far away as a recent trip to South Africa where he witnessed to hundreds of youth. Zach enjoys spending free time hunting, fishing and vacationing with his family.
Charles began working in the funeral service in 2011 as a Removal Specialist and founding member of Knight Riders LLC. He immediately felt a calling to industry and began working with a local funeral home as a funeral assistant to gain a better understanding of the business. Charles enjoys being able to interact with the families of the deceased at the most critical time, the hours just after the passing of a loved one. Charles served for many years as a law enforcement officer and also a business owner. Zach appointed Charles the Operations Manager of Knight Riders in the fall of 2012 where he has been able to utilize his skills to continue the growth and improvement of the company. Charles attends Hillsdale United Methodist Church and spends his spare time hunting and fishing.
Wendi is also a founding member of Knight Riders LLC. She is responsible for all the office and client account services including invoicing, payroll, insurance compliance as well as working with the NC Funeral Board and NC Medical Examiners Offices. Wendi also serves as a Registered Nurse and brings that caring personality to her work in the mortuary transport service. She often assists in removals and enjoys the opportunity to engage with clients and families. Zach and Wendi were married in 2015 and attend Hillsdale United Methodist Church together. She likes to spend her spare time reading, hunting with Zach and spending time with family and friends.
Mike has been serving families with professionalism in the funeral industry for 26 years. With his caring, compassionate nature he has served hundreds of families with dedication and concern. Mike is presently location manager of a large, established funeral home in the Triad. Mike and his wife, Carrie, are active members of Hillsdale United Methodist Church. Mike is also an active member of Rotary Club of Clemmons. He also enjoys spending free time entertaining his grandchildren, golfing, and vacationing at the coast with his family.
